Hi,

I am trying to identify a tree in my garden and can't find it online or the books I have and I am hoping someone can help.  I have attached a couple of pictures and listed a few characteristics below.

  1. Approx 5-6 metres high
  2. Main trunk it actuall 6 or 7 interwoven branches
  3. Foliage starts at about 2 metres and is bulbous
  4. Leaves are medium green, near to symetric/oval, underside is an almost silver/shimmery light green
  5. It bears (small 2-3cm) fruit which are mainly small stones with a thin skin layer
  6. Its in full sun in a north facing garden.

I thought it might be a pagoda tree of some sort but it doesnt quite fit the bill.  Any guidance greatly appreciated.

Thanks
