‘Pagoda Tree’ is a soft melodic single that draws on the energy of everything that the indie scene once was (before it became the mainstream). I’ve now listened to this track at least ten times today and with each listen I find something deeper, more interesting and more revealing to pay attention too. Funny that the author degrades the recording so intensely on his own Bandcamp because I, for one, love the track.
